One of my worst nightmares. A meeting with Reality.

I have never ever written down my nightmares immediately after waking up. This is the first time I am doing so. Because, it wasn't the nightmare that freaked me out, it was the cold reality whom I met after retaining my senses. And the nightmare was so random and implausible, I so wished it was real.

I was getting ready for bed at half past midnight. Mom was already asleep, as I remember she had a fever and was talking all with a weak tone. I lied down on a separate bed in the same room. Before, I could doze off, I felt something or someone was missing. Then, I remembered it was my Dad who wasn't there in the room. The bathroom light was on and oddly it was locked from the outside. I unlocked the door and to my shock I saw my dad on the tiled floor face-down. I was horrified and picked him up by the shoulders from behind and kept shouting 'Dad' in a hopeless tone of voice. He didn't wake up, he wasn't breathing, I didn't want him to leave me. I called the family doctor immediately. He reached my place in a few seconds. I have no idea what he did to my Dad but, he woke back to life and was walking around weakly. I was so happy for a few seconds. And later, the doctor told me, if I had indeed delayed in calling him, he might have not survived. And please make sure from now on, you don't hurt him emotionally at all, he is emotionally very sensitive.

Then, I woke up. Only to realize that my nightmare was a disappointment. Dad obviously was no longer around. And that fucking doctor was my first ever dentist who I hated a lot. I still wonder, if this nightmare ever had a message for me. Only time can tell.

Mass Effect 3 ?

*I should really upload the stories of my dreams stored in my notepad more often. Oh well, maybe I will from now on.*

Recently I'd finished playing this amazing PC game, Mass Effect 2, which perhaps had an everlasting effect on me in one way or another. I'd slept late again last night, the reason being, had wished to make new memories with my girl. I slightly remember sleeping at 2 AM. Somewhere in the morning, my all so active mind had drifted to yet another realm of duality. Though I never saw myself there physically, it was rather a 3rd person view from the top [Was it mine or was it a view of another? And the person I was following with my vision was the virtual character whom I'd created back on Mass Effect 2, Zafina Shepard. She was exactly the same with respect to the way I'd created her. Dark and a face full of scars. A woman forcefully turned into a renegade by the Galactic society of the universe. The only thing differed in her physical appearance were her legs. It seemed as if she'd lost her legs in a battle and now have been replaced by a pair cybernetic ones. She was amidst of another war in outer space and made her way slowly to my field of view, really up close. She points her gun in my field of view, but not exactly at me [Rather at someone who was standing beside me, never actually saw who though]. Then, she says with a commanding voice "It's time to end this God. It's time to end all your lies". Shoots her gun with a ruthless expression and I see my view blocked by a white flash and I returned to a place which we assume to be real. [As far as I can remember, the gun was never pointed directly at me, oh well.]

Date & Time of Occurrence: Morning of 01/08/2010.

Ethereal Experience:
- Sense of danger and grief
- Extremely noisy and flashy.
- Never understood, what the war was all about.

Materialistic Experience:
- Bad Headache.
- A eerie feeling of nostalgia.
- *Cybernetic feet look awesome*

Couple of weeks ago, while I was lingering in the alternate realm, I found myself running with all my life. Not stopping for anything in the midst of my running track, a metropolis. I was able to take giant leaps and land over vehicles, small buildings, traffic signals, crushing them with the impact. My mind was racing and my blood was filled with adrenaline. I believed that, I was the only one who could run like that. Evidently, there was someone else who was doing the same and by a distant voice it was revealed that this was a one-on-one race and I was overtaken by some woman with short spiky hair. On hearing that, nothing else mattered to my reality-misplaced brain, I was craving for the victory. Ran with all my strength and stamina, till I was head to head with my contender. Both of us could see the finish line. And, in a matter of seconds the victorious would be undoubtedly decided. From my point of view, both of us had crossed the finish line at the same time, but the judge had something else to say. The judge opened an envelope to declare the winner.

The judge with her echoing voice through the microphone then declared in a musical way "Welcome to the most beautiful city in the world.Moscow!"

My alarm had gone off.My mind and soul had returned to the other side of the same dream.
